According to the police, the deceased include a man and five women, identified as Drupat Prajapati (30), Sumitra Bai Kumbhkar (50), Manisha Kumbhkar (35), Sagun Bai Kumbhkar (50), Imla Bai (55) and a 7-year-old The child is born in the form of Jignesh Kumbhakar.
According to sources, a total of 13 people were traveling in the SUV at the time of the accident. According to the police, the vehicle collided with the end of the truck, resulting in the death of six people on the spot. There was hue and cry on the spot after the accident. The injured people have been taken to Rajnandgaon Medical College. Local people started relief and rescue operations. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ashok Joshi said that the accused truck driver fled from the spot and the search for him is on.
