What could have become a great race for the Mexican driver, Sergio “Checo” Pérez, in the Grand Prix of the Netherlands, turned out to be the opposite, since he had no luck being in the top positions at the end of the race and a penalty sent him to fourth position, missing out on the podium.
The weather conditions sentenced the Mexican’s race, as a terrible stop in the pits that lasted approximately 10 seconds it cost Checo several positions, which caused him to explode against his team of mechanics.
“Why do we stop? We are stupid”, Checo Pérez expressed to his team during his pit stop. The delay due to the change of tires unleashed the fury of the Mexican, since he went from being in third position to sixth place.
