Keep in mind that the information given in POI/POA documents should match with the information entered in your Aadhaar. This will maintain the accuracy of the information in your Aadhaar database. TRAI’s new traceability guidelines will be implemented from tomorrow
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has decided to implement its new traceability guidelines from December 1, 2024. The purpose of these guidelines is to prevent spam and fraudulent messages and increase the safety of consumers. Under the new traceability guidelines, all telecom operators and messaging service providers will have to check the origin and authenticity of every message. All these steps are being taken under the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) system, which was started to stop spam and increase message traceability. Under this, the business has to register its sender ID (header) and message templates with the telecom operator. If a message does not match the registered template or header, it may be blocked or flagged.
