This time on Holi, the face of the moon is also going to be red. This year the moon is also going to play Holi. On March 14, a rare astronomical event will happen when the moon turns red for 65 minutes. There will be a special kind of lunar eclipse called ‘blood moon’ and it will turn the moon into dark red color.
Many famous astrologers say that this will be a full lunar eclipse. Earlier in 2022 such a full lunar eclipse was observed.
When will the first lunar eclipse of the year take?
According to the data of NASA’s website, the incident of blood moon will appear on 14 March in the western hemisphere of the earth including the US, Europe and Africa. That is, it will not be seen in India. According to NASA, blood moon is expected to last up to 1.05 hours. The rest of the eclipse (not blood moon) will appear from late night of March 13 to March 14, 2025 (IST). According to the NASA website, the eclipse for the local people of America will start at EDT on 13 March at around 11:57 pm.

This eclipse will be fully visible mainly in northern and South Africa, Antik Ocean, Africa, Australia, Atlantic East Asia.
