Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s most awaited film ‘Deva’ is scheduled to release on 31 January 2025, but before that the film has faced cuts from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The censor board has removed some scenes before giving a U/A certificate to this action thriller movie, which is being costing Rs 75 crore.
Total 3 changes have been made from the film, in which a 6 -second clip has been removed from a liplock scene and replaced by obscene gestures and abuses. After these changes, the run time of the film has come down to 2 hours 36 minutes.
In ‘Deva’, Shahid Kapoor will be seen in the role of a policeman, while Pooja Hegde will be seen playing the journalist. Directed by the film’s director Roshan Andrews, the film returns to Rowdy role like Shahid’s ‘Kabir Singh’, but this time his character will be more intensity.
Before the release of the film, this is Shahid’s second film, which has faced cuts from the censor board. Earlier, the censor board had removed love making scenes on his film ‘Teri Baat Mein Aisa Jiya Jia’. The wait for the fans regarding ‘Deva’ has increased even more.
