CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th Results 2024 Date: About 39 lakh children of CBSE Board are eagerly waiting for their results. A big update related to the result date has come out on the official website of the board. It has been told on the website that CBSE Board 10th and 12th results are likely to be released after May 20, 2024. Last year, CBSE had released the results of class 10th and 12th on the same day on 12th May 2023. This time also the result is likely to be released in the current month.
After the announcement of the result, children will be able to check the official website of CBSE on websites like cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, digilocker.gov.in. The results will also be made available on UMANG, Digilocker app or Digiresults app. These apps can be downloaded from Google Play Store. Apart from this, the children who appeared in the examination will also be able to see the results with the help of IVRS system.

Lakhs of children are waiting for their results
This year, around 39 lakh children from 26 different countries are said to have appeared in the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams. This year, CBSE 10th board exams were held from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while Class 12 board exams were held from February 15 to April 2, 2024. Both the examinations were conducted in the same shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Children who appeared in the CBSE board examination are eagerly waiting for their results. The board will soon complete the evaluation of students’ copies. After this the result will be announced. The result of children will be released on the official website of CBSE Board cbse.gov.in. This time the board has officially announced the possibility of releasing the results after May 20.
If we look at the result date trend of the last five years, the board had released the results in 2023 on May 12. Before that, the results were released on 22 July in 2022, 30 July in 2021, 13 July in 2020 and 2 May in 2019.
How was the result last year?
Last year, 16,80,256 children had registered for the CBSE Board 12th examination. Out of which 16,60,511 children had appeared for the 12th class board examination and out of these, 14,50,174 i.e. 87.33 percent children were successful in this examination. In the CBSE 12th results 2023, 1,12,838 children scored more than 90% marks, while 22,622 children scored more than 95% marks. A total of 21,84,117 children had registered for the 10th board examination, out of which 21,65,805 children appeared in the examination. Last year, 20,16,779 i.e. 93.12 percent children who appeared in the CBSE 10th board examination were successful. Last year, 44297 children had scored more than 95% marks in the 10th board examination. Whereas, 1,95,799 children had secured 90 percent marks. Last year, the passing percentage of girls in CBSE 10th board exam was 94.25 percent and that of boys was 92.72 percent. Whereas in the 12th board exam, the passing percentage of girls was 90.68 percent and that of boys was 84.67 percent.
CBSE requires students to score at least 33% marks in each subject to pass the board examination. If a child fails in the board exam then there is no need to be disappointed. He also has another option to get his numbers corrected. CBSE organizes compartment exams for such students, by participating in which students can save their year from getting wasted.

After the declaration of the result, the children who appeared in the examination will have to visit the official website of CBSE results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in.
Here click on ‘CBSE 10th Result Direct Link’ or ‘CBSE 12th Result Direct Link’ visible on the home page.
Now fill the necessary details like roll number, date of birth, school code and click on the submit button.
As soon as you do this, your CBSE board result will open on the screen, check all the details carefully.
Then download or save a digital copy of the result and keep it. You can also get a digital copy printed so that you can make it available if needed in future.
CBSE Board 10th-12th Result on Digilocker: This is how you can check results on Digilocker
- First of all CBSE related DigiLocker website cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activate cbsego to,
- Now click on ‘Get started with account creation’ option to create an account.
- Fill the required details and enter the 6 digit PIN provided by your school. In fact, to gain access to the results on DigiLocker, students are being provided a security PIN by the CBSE-recognized school from which they had registered for the 10th board examination.
- After that the details will have to be verified. After these steps, fill the OTP received on the mobile number.
- By doing this your DigiLocker account will be successfully activated.
- The results of 12th board examination have been announced today by CBSE. Now this time the students who appeared in the examination, open the DigiLocker app and click on the result link.
- You can check your digital marksheet by filling the required details.
