Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu announced on Twitter that they hosted Abdulaziz Kamilov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, in Istanbul, where he came to attend the Extraordinary Meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking Countries (Turkic Council).

Noting that Turkey will work with Uzbekistan on Afghanistan, Çavuşoğlu stated that the two countries will increase the trade volume with the Preferential Trade Agreement and mutually recognize vaccine certificates.
