Car Price Hike From January 1, 2025: In the last month of the year, December, all the car manufacturing companies including Maruti, Tata Motors Mahindra, Hyundai, Kia, Skoda had already announced to increase the prices of their vehicles from January 1, 2025. Now Honda cars have also been included in this list. On Friday, Honda has announced to increase the prices of all its models by 2 percent from the new year. Vice President (Marketing and Sales) of the car manufacturer Kunal Bahl said that from January 1, 2025, the price of Honda cars will increase by 2 percent. He said that due to continuous increase in the cost of raw materials and logistics, a small burden of this will be passed on to the customers through price revision from the new year. Honda sells models like Amaze, City and Elevate in the Indian market.

Maruti prices will increase by 4% in the new year
The prices of Maruti Suzuki cars are going to increase in the new year. Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest car manufacturing company, had said on Friday that the prices of vehicles will increase by up to 4% from January 2025. The company has decided to increase the prices of its vehicles to cope with the continuously increasing raw material prices and operation costs. Maruti sells cars like Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Eeco, WagonR, Swift, Dezire, Brezza, Ertiga, Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, Francox, Grand Vitara, Jimny, XL6 and Invicto.
Tata cars will become expensive by 3% in the new year
Recently, Tata Motors announced a 3 percent increase in the prices of its entire lineup of vehicles, which includes both electric cars and fuel engine-powered models. However, this increase in prices from the new year will vary depending on the model and variant. Currently, Tata sells 13 models in the Indian market, which includes 5 electric cars – Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV and Curve EV.

Up to 3% discount on Mahindra SUV from January 1 prices will increase
From January 1, 2025, the prices of Mahindra & Mahindra SUVs and commercial vehicles are going to increase by 3%. The company recently said in a statement that due to high inflation rate and rising commodity costs, the decision has been taken to increase the prices of SUVs and commercial vehicles. The company has tried to bear the additional costs as much as possible. However, a portion of the increased costs needed to be passed on to customers. Mahindra’s SUV line-up currently includes Bolero, Bolero Neo, XUV 3XO, Thar, Thar Roxx, Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N, XUV700 models. Apart from this, the company also sells XUV400, BE and XEV 9e electric cars.
Prices of Hyundai cars increased by up to Rs 25000
Hyundai cars are also going to become expensive in the new year. Recently, it was told by the car manufacturer that from January 1, 2025, the prices of Hyundai cars will increase by Rs 25,000. According to the statement, the price increase will be done in different model vehicles of Hyundai Motor India. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) said in a statement that it has become necessary to increase the prices due to increase in raw material costs, unfavorable exchange rates and increase in logistics costs. There are many models of Hyundai available for customers in the Indian car market. Whose names are as follows- Grand i10 Nios, i20, i20 N Line, Aura, Verna, Exter, Venue, Venue N Line, Creta, Creta N Line, Alcazar, Tucson and electric car Ioniq 5.

JSW MG Motor cars are also going to be costlier by 3%
The prices of all MG vehicles are going to increase by up to 3% in the new year. MG models like Comet EV, ZS EV, Windsor EV, Astor, Hector and Gloster are available in the market for the customers.
Luxury cars will become more expensive in the new year
Luxury cars like Mercedes, BMW, Audi are also liked a lot by the people in the country. Customers are going to need more money to buy these cars in the new year because recently both the car manufacturers have announced to increase the prices of their vehicles by 3%. Like Mercedes-Benz and BMW, luxury car maker Audi India has also decided to increase the prices of its entire model range by up to 3 per cent citing increase in input and transportation costs.
