The suspect was later arrested by police in Siliguri earlier this month. The woman said she was molested at her home in Darjeeling when she was just 14 years old. The woman said that the court had recently rejected the bail plea of the accused as he had made strong arguments against him. “It simply came to our notice then. They made this clear to the news agency PTI in Hong Kong.
The woman told the news agency that she had previously been reluctant to file a complaint against him because she was scared. The woman said she had no idea how to get out of the shock of the torture.
