As a result of an accident involving a bus in Nepal, at least 25 people died and many people were injured, police said in the South Asian country.
According to the BBC, the incident took place in the Mugu region in northwestern Nepal.
The causes of the accident have not yet been established. The accident could have been caused by a malfunction in the brake system.
Images in local media show the wreckage of a bus overturned at the foot of the hill.
The Nepalese police said that rescue teams had arrived at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
Most of the bus passengers are believed to have been returning from the Dashain celebrations, a major religious festival in Nepal and India.
