Budget session of Parliament from January 31 to April 4, Union Budget to be presented on February 1: The budget session of Parliament will be from 31 January to 4 April. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present her eighth budget on February 1. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that President Draupadi Murmu has approved calling both the houses of Parliament for this session. The session will start with the President’s address.

Union Minister through post on X Rijiju Told that President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint meeting of both the Houses in the Lok Sabha on January 31 at 11 am. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the general budget in the Lok Sabha on February 1 for the financial year 2025-26.
The Hon’ble President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu ji on the recommendation of the Government of India, has approved summoning both Houses of Parliament for the Budget Session 2025 from 31st January, 2025 to 4th April 2025 (subject to exigencies of parliamentary business).

So many meetings are to be held in the upcoming budget session
After this, Parliament will take a break to examine the budget proposals and then meet again on March 10 to discuss the demands for grants for various ministries and complete the budget process. This session will end on 4th April. 27 meetings are to be held in the entire budget session.
