BJP vs Congress over Scuffle in Parliament Compound: The incident of altercation and scuffle between BJP and opposition MPs in the Parliament complex has taken a serious turn. In its complaint to the police, BJP has demanded registration of an FIR against Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi accusing him of attempt to murder. At the same time, Congress has also filed a complaint of physical abuse against BJP MPs, terming the allegations against Rahul as baseless. Congress has called this entire matter an attempt to divert attention from the issue of alleged insult to Dr. Ambedkar.
Counterattack continues between BJP and Congress
The series of allegations and counter-allegations in this matter continues between BJP and Congress. BJP leader Anurag Thakur is demanding a thorough investigation of the incident and registering an FIR against Rahul Gandhi under charges of attempt to murder, inciting violence and physical attack. At the same time, Congress called it a conspiracy and said that BJP is making false allegations to save its MPs and defame the opposition. Congress MPs have demanded an impartial investigation into this matter.

BJP filed complaint against Rahul Gandhi
Under the leadership of former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, BJP MPs reached Sansad Marg police station in Delhi and lodged a complaint against Rahul Gandhi. In which it has been alleged that Rahul Gandhi attacked the NDA MPs who were protesting peacefully at the Makar Gate of the Parliament complex. BJP leaders have also demanded that an FIR be filed against Rahul Gandhi in this case under several serious sections including attempt to murder.

Rahul attacked deliberately: BJP
BJP MP Hemang Joshi said that Rahul Gandhi ignored the instructions of the security officials and tried to provoke and physically attack the protesters by forcefully moving towards them. Joshi alleged in his complaint that BJP MPs Mukesh Rajput and Pratap Rao Sarangi were injured during the incident. Rajput suffered serious head injuries and Sarangi also suffered injuries on her forehead. BJP MPs have accused Rahul Gandhi and his supporters of deliberately attacking and endangering the safety of MPs.

Rahul pushed BJP MPs and made them fall. : BJP
BJP MP Hemang Joshi has written in his complaint that NDA MPs were protesting at Makar Dwar at around 10:40 in the morning. This demonstration was being held in protest against the “misinformation” being spread by the opposition parties, especially the Congress. Joshi claims that Rahul Gandhi ignored the instructions of Parliament security officials and deliberately instigated violence by moving towards the protesters. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi and his supporters pushed the BJP MPs and made them fall, due to which they were seriously injured.

Congress alleges: Rahul, Kharge were misbehaved
Congress rejected these allegations outright and accused BJP MPs of misbehaving with Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Congress says that BJP MPs tried to physically harm their leaders. A Congress delegation lodged a complaint at Sansad Marg police station. The leaders who reached the police station included Digvijay Singh, Mukul Wasnik, Rajiv Shukla and Pramod Tiwari. Congress leaders have also written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla demanding an investigation into the incident. The incidents that took place in the Parliament House complex on Thursday are an example of mutual bitterness between the ruling party and the opposition parties worsening beyond limits. Besides, this also shows the disregard for parliamentary traditions in the behavior of political parties.
