Haryana: In this body election, Congress and independents have won more than BJP.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has suffered a major defeat in the civic elections in Haryana. In this body election, Congress and independents have won more than BJP.
In Haryana, the BJP-JJP alliance has lost again in three elections for the mayor, both these seats are considered to be the stronghold of Jannayak Janata Party.
Let me tell you that in the civic elections on December 27, voting was held for the post of Mayor in Sonipat, Panchkula and Ambala Municipal Corporation.
The results of 7 civic elections in Haryana are believed to have been disappointing due to the farmer protest for the BJP-JJP alliance. Of the seven civic elections held in Haryana, the BJP has managed to win only two.
The BJP leader says that 25, 26, 27 was a three-day holiday and you know that December is the last week. So every person wishes that we take a vacation and go somewhere.
The 25, 26, 27 holiday and the last week of December reduced the vote percentage. Most of the people on leave were BJP’s vote bank. Due to which they are not here, the BJP has faced defeat.
Significantly, due to the farmers’ protest, the BJP-JJP government is facing heavy opposition in the state. In fact, in the month of November last year, the farmers of Punjab started the farmer’s protest on the border of Haryana.
The Haryana Police ran water canons on the farmers and ordered lathi-charge. Due to which the Khattar government was severely criticized. This was strongly opposed by the Khap Panchayats of Haryana.
