Bima Sakhi will be able to earn more than Rs 1.75 lakh every year
Under LIC’s Bima Sakhi scheme, the annual income of educated women can exceed Rs 1.75 lakh. That means, according to this, those Bima Sakhis will be able to earn more than Rs 14,600 every month. Let us understand how?
We all know that the women who become part of the Bima Sakhi scheme will be given training for the first three years. During training, each Bima Sakhi is to get a stipend of Rs 7000 per month in the first year, Rs 6000 in the second year and Rs 5000 per month in the third year. However, under this scheme of LIC, women and girls who become Bima Sakhi have to fulfill some important standards. These 10th pass insurance agents have to sell at least 24 policies every year. On fulfilling this standard, Bima Sakhis will get Rs 48,000 annually as commission for 24 policies along with monthly stipend. That means he will earn Rs 2000 as commission on one policy. Apart from this, they will also get the benefit of bonus per policy.
Suppose a Bima Sakhi sells 24 policies in the first year. Apart from selling the same number of policies in the second year, it also retains 16 out of 24 policies sold in the first year. Similarly, if she sells 24 policies in the third year and keeps 32 policies out of 48 sold in the first and second years as equity, then in this way her total monthly income including stipend, commission and bonus in the third year will be more than Rs 14600.
Commission for 24 policies – Rs 48,000
Commission from 32 renew policies – Rs 64,000
Third year stipend – Rs 5000 X 12 – Rs 60,000
Apart from this, Bima Sakhis are also to get the benefit of bonus per policy.
In this way Bima Sakhis will be able to earn more than Rs 1.75 lakh annually.
