A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Maharashtra in which a huge explosion took place in an ordinance factory in Bhandara. This blast horrified the hearts of the people nearby and the news of death of 5 laborers in this incident has also come to light. It has been told that there is a possibility of increase in the death toll in this blast. Hurt by this incident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has expressed grief by posting on X.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on the explosion in the ordnance factory in Bhandara, “There is news of 13 to 14 laborers trapped due to the roof collapse in the explosion in the ordnance factory in Bhandara district. According to the preliminary information received so far, unfortunately one laborer has died. 5 laborers have been evacuated safely. District Collector and Superintendent of Police are at the spot and all kinds of help is being provided. SDRF and Nagpur Municipal Corporation teams have also been called for rescue work and will reach soon. The district administration is engaged in rescue operations in coordination with the defense forces. Teams have also been kept ready for medical assistance. I pay my heartfelt tribute to the person who lost his life in this incident.”
If sources are to be believed, the explosion was so terrible that its sound reached a distance of 5-7 kilometers. The explosion took place in building number 23 of C section. It is being said that the blast took place around 11 o’clock in the day, but information about it was received late. Only after receiving information about the blast, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot.
