Top Selling Cars in April 2024 in India; Full list here: The new financial year starts from the month of April. The first month of the current financial year was important for car manufacturing companies. Like March 2024, April also saw an increase in sales of most cars. Last month, Tata Punch became the number 1 selling car in the country. It remained at punch number one for the second consecutive month. This year, Baleno (Maruti Suzuki Baleno) and WagonR (Maruti Suzuki WagonR) models in February stood first in sales.
This place remained in the name of Panch in March and April. If we look at the list of top 10 most sold vehicles in the country last month, Maruti WagonR is at second place and Maruti Brezza is at third place. Most of the SUV segment vehicles have found a place in this list. Apart from this, two hatchbacks, one each from sedan, MUV and van segment are included. If seen on the basis of brand, the top 10 list includes 7 vehicles of Maruti Suzuki and one model each of Tata Motors, Hyundai and Mahindra.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco Van
During April this year, Maruti Suzuki’s Eeco van overtook Tata Nexon and managed to get the last position in the top 10 car selling list. Maruti Suzuki sold 12,060 vehicles in April 2024. Whereas in the same month last year, 10,504 vans of the company were sold. During this period, an increase of 15 percent was recorded in the sales of Echo on annual basis.

This year Tata Punch is at number one in the list. This model of Tata Motors remained at this position for the second consecutive month. Tata Motors sold 19,158 Punches in April. Whereas in the same period last year, 10,934 vehicles were sold. In this way, there is an increase of 75 percent in the sales of Punch on annual basis.
