Best Selling Cars in India: Hyundai Creta has become the number 1 selling car in the Indian market. Creta has achieved this position by beating Tata Punch and Maruti Swift. In the first half of this year, it has left behind Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors’ vehicles, which were at number 1, in terms of sales. In July, 17350 Hyundai Cretas were sold within the country. Earlier, Creta became the third best-selling car in June 2024 and the second best-selling car in March.
Hyundai Creta became the best selling car
If we look at the figures of 2024, Creta was at number 12 with sales of 13212 units in January this year. Maruti Suzuki Baleno was the best selling car in the Indian market this month with the highest sale of 19630 units. Creta was at number seven with sales of 15276 units in February. During this period, 19412 units of Maruti Suzuki WagonR, which became the best selling car, were sold. In March, Creta became the second best selling car with sales of 16458 units and Tata Punch was the best selling car with sales of 17547 units. Creta was the fifth best selling car in April. During this period, Hyundai sold 15447 vehicles and Tata Punch again became number 1 with sales of 19158 units.
In May, Creta was the fourth best-selling car with sales of 14662 units, while Maruti Suzuki Swift became India’s best-selling car with sales of 19393 units. In June, Creta was the third best-selling car with sales of 16293 units and after a gap of a month, Punch again became the best-selling car. In June, 18238 Tata Punch were sold within the country. After a long period of ups and downs from January to June, now in July, Creta has become the number 1 selling car in the country with sales of 17350 units.
