Bank Holidays September 2024:The month of September is going to start from Sunday, i.e. about 5 days from today. If you have postponed some important bank related work for the new month, then this news is useful for you. Banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in September.This information has been given in the list of bank holidays (Bank Holidays in September 2024) issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). September 4 – WednesdayBanks in Assam (Guwahati) will remain closed on the occasion of Thirubhava Tithi of Srimanta Sankardeva.
September 7 – SaturdayOn the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji will remain closed.
September 16 – MondayDue to Barafatha, banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Aizawl, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Kochi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Ranchi, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram.
September 17 – TuesdayBanks in Gangtok and Raipur will remain closed on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi.
September 18 – WednesdayBanks in Gangtok will remain closed due to Pang-Lhabsol.
September 20 – FridayOn the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, banks in Jammu and Srinagar will remain closed.
September 21 – SaturdayBanks in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram will remain closed on account of Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Day.
September 23 – MondayBanks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the occasion of birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.

September 8 – Sunday – Due to weekly holiday, all banks across the country will remain closed on this day.
14 September – All banks across the country will remain closed as it is the second Saturday of the month.
September 15 – Sunday – Due to weekly holiday, all private and government banks across the country will remain closed.
September 22 – Sunday – Due to weekly holiday, all banks across the country will remain closed.
28 September – Due to it being the fourth Saturday of the month, work in all banks across the country will remain closed.
September 29 – Sunday – Due to weekly holiday, all private and government banks across the country will remain closed.

Online banking services will be available
Despite bank holidays, you can transact money or do other work through online banking and ATM. Bank holidays will not have any effect on these facilities. During bank closure, you can do many bank related works through mobile or net banking. All online facilities will remain operational during bank closure.
