Bank Holidays In June 2024: The month of June will begin in a few days from now. Voting for the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be held in the first week of June and the counting of votes will take place on June 4. During the biggest festival of democracy, if you have postponed important bank related work for the next month, then be a little alert because due to voting on the first of June, work in private and government banks will be closed in some parts of the country. On Saturday, June 1, banks will remain open in all parts except the polling areas. Like every month, Sunday will be a weekly holiday in June as well. Apart from this, banks will also remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Overall, banks will remain closed for 12 days in June.

8 June Saturday – Banks will remain closed on second Saturday across India.
9th June Sunday – Weekly Holiday, Banks will remain closed in the states of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti.

22 June Saturday – Banks will remain closed on the fourth Saturday across India.
23 June Sunday – Weekly Holiday

10 June Monday – Banks will remain closed in Punjab on the occasion of Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji.
Friday, June 14 – Banks will remain closed in Odisha on this day due to Pahili Raja.
June 15, Saturday – Banks will be closed for YMA Day in the northeastern state of Mizoram and Raja Sankranti in Odisha.
Monday, June 17 – Banks will remain closed across India except in some states on the occasion of Bakrid.
Friday, June 21 – Banks will remain closed in many states for Vat Savitri Vrat.
Online banking services will be available
Despite bank holidays, you can transact money or do other work through online banking and ATM. Bank holidays will not have any effect on these facilities. During bank closure, you can do many bank related works through mobile or net banking. All online facilities will remain operational during bank closure.
