Mahindra sales rise 11% in June

In June 2024, 69,397 vehicles of Mahindra & Mahindra were sold. Last year in the same month, the company sold 62,429 vehicles. Mahindra’s sales have increased by 11 percent on an annual basis. The Mumbai-based automaker said in its statement that Mahindra’s passenger vehicle sales within the country have increased by 23 percent on an annual basis. In June this year, the company sold 40,022 vehicles in India, while only 32,588 vehicles could be sold during the same month last year. The demand for Mahindra vehicles has also increased in the foreign market. According to monthly sales figures, in June 2024, Mahindra exported a total of 2,597 vehicles to foreign markets, while in June 2023 this figure was 2,505. This year, the export of Mahindra vehicles has increased by 4 percent on an annual basis.

Bajaj Auto sales rise 5% in June

In June this year, Bajaj Auto sold 3,58,477 vehicles, while in the same month last year, the company sold 3,40,981 two-wheelers and commercial vehicles. Bajaj Auto’s total sales have increased by 5 percent on an annual basis. In June, Bajaj Auto’s total sales of two-wheelers and commercial vehicles in the domestic market increased by 8 percent to 2,16,451 units, while in June 2023 this figure was 1,99,983 units. During this period, Bajaj Auto exported a total of 1,42,026 vehicles for foreign markets, which was 1,40,998 units in the same month last year. The company’s exports increased by 1 percent.

Toyota sales rise by 40%

In June this year, Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded its highest ever monthly sales of 27,474 units. The company’s total supply to dealers increased by 40 percent to 27,474 units last month, while this figure was 19,608 units in June 2023. Last month, the company’s sales in the domestic market stood at 25,752 units. During this period, Toyota’s exports to the foreign market stood at 1,722 units.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Vice President (Sales Service Used Car Business) Sabari Manohar said in a statement that SUV and MPV segment vehicles have seen a huge growth in sales, reflecting the customer preference for these versatile and reliable vehicles. He said that apart from a strong presence in major cities, the automaker has strategically increased its focus on rural areas. The customer base has expanded and gained significant momentum.
