The attack unmanned aerial vehicle Bayraktar Akıncı TİHA, developed by the Turkish company Baykar entirely at the expense of domestic capacities, broke the Turkish aviation altitude record, flying 38,039 feet (11,594 meters) into the sky. This is stated in a release released by Baykar on Thursday.

According to the information, the drone spent 25 hours 46 minutes in this flight.

On long non-stop flights operated from the Akıncı Flight Training and Test Center in the city of городеorlu in northwestern Turkey, he covered a distance of 7507 kilometers.

The UAV, which has completed 870 test and training flights, has flown a total of 347 hours 28 minutes.

On April 22, Bayraktar Akinci TIHA successfully passed the first test firing of ammunition. During the test firing, smart ammunition MAM-S, MAM-L and MAM-T produced by the Turkish company Roketsan were used.

During test firing on July 5, 2021, warhead projectiles were used for the first time at Bayraktar Akinci TIHA.

Combat drone Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA made its first flight on December 6, 2019. Three prototypes of the attack drone are being tested at the Akinci Training and Test Center in orlu.

In 2021, the first deliveries of Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA to the Turkish Armed Forces are planned.
