Arvind Kejriwal Bail Live Updates: A day after coming out of Tihar Jail, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will participate in road shows in South and East Delhi today along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Last day, a two-judge bench of the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Kejriwal till June 1 in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. CM Kejriwal offered prayers at Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place at 11 am on Saturday and now the press conference is going on at the Aam Aadmi Party office from 1 pm.
Addressing the crowd after coming out of Tihar, Kejriwal said that I told you that I will come back soon? I’m back. He said that first of all I want to worship at the feet of Hanuman ji. With the blessings of Hanuman ji, I am among you all. He said that we all have to come together to save the country from dictatorship. I am fighting with my whole body, mind and wealth against dictatorship. But all of us 140 crore people will have to fight against dictatorship. During this, he also thanked the judges of the Supreme Court.
Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21 in the alleged Delhi Liquor Policy case. After that Kejriwal was sent to judicial custody. He was lodged in Tihar jail from 1 April to 10 May i.e. about 40 days. With this, he became the first sitting Chief Minister of India to be jailed. Last day, the Supreme Court has ordered the release of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on interim bail till June 1. The court has said that Kejriwal will have to surrender on June 2 and go back to jail. Kejriwal got relief after about 50 days. Kejriwal is currently holding a press conference. He will hold a road show with the Punjab Chief Minister in Mehrauli in South Delhi at 4 pm and Krishna Nagar in East Delhi at 6 pm.
