It was recently reported that a property that belonged to him in Detroit was sold this summer. According to the ‘New York Post’, the property entered the market in May for $800,000 and by July a purchase contract had already been signed, although the exact price paid by the new owners is unknown.
The home is located at 18261 Hamilton Road and it has a long history, which begins before Franklin bought it.
It’s known that The sellers bought the place in 2018, shortly after the singer’s death, for $300,000. and they tried to sell it first for more than $1 million during 2022.

Franklin purchased this property in 1993but it was originally built between 1927 and 1929.
