The Coalition said in a brief statement, relayed by the official Saudi press agency (SPA), that its air force had banned and destroyed a fourth drone trapped in Yemeni airspace, without giving further details.
Earlier today Wednesday, the Coalition announced in three separate statements the interception and destruction of three Houthi drones in Yemeni airspace.
The Houthis did not comment on the matter until 5:35 p.m. GMT.
The Houthis are launching ballistic missiles and trapped drones into Saudi areas, while the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen is threatening to thwart the attacks, despite Arab and international calls for a ceasefire.
For almost 7 years, Yemen has been living a war that has claimed more than 233,000 lives, and 80% of its population of about 30 million people have become dependent on subsidies, in the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, according to the Nations United.
