The Indian Consulate in New York, USA honored three reputed Indian -origin women for their outstanding contribution in various fields on the occasion of International Women’s Day under joint aegis with the Federation of Indian Association (FIA).
Those who were honored include Anu Iyengar, Anjula Acharya and Anchor Seema Modi. These three women have a significant contribution in entrepreneurship, media and social empowerment.
Anu Iyengar among honored women, ‘J.P. Morgan holds advisor and holding the global head of merger and acquisition. Anjula Acharia is the CEO and founder of ‘A-Series Management and Investments’. Seema Modi is a journalist and anchor of CNBC, he has contributed very significant in global journalism.
Union Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi was present as the chief guest at this program of the 7th annual International Women’s Day celebrations of the FIA.
Apart from these three, the CEO and founder of Wedo, WeDO Diamond, was also honored during this period. He has written 10 books, set three Guinness World Records and he has been discussed on CNBC, Opra and Bloomberg.
