The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was welcomed on Monday by his Angolan counterpart, Joao Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, with an official ceremony at the presidential palace in the Angolan capital, Luanda.
The national anthems of the two countries sounded then the two presidents saluted the military guard.
Turkish Foreign Ministers Mevlut Cavusoglu, Energy and Natural Resources, Fatih Donmez, Defense, Hulusi Akar, Trade, Mehmet Mus, as well as Justice and Development Party spokesperson ( AK Party), Omer Celik, AK Party vice-chairman Efkan Ala, Turkish Presidency communication chief Fahrettin Altun and Turkish Presidency spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin were present at the ceremony.
The Turkish President began an African tour on Sunday which will also take him to Togo and Nigeria.
