US President Donald Trump said after being sworn in, “America will soon be greater, stronger and more extraordinary than ever before. I return to the presidency with confidence and hope that we are embarking on an exciting new era of national success. A wave of change is going on in the country. America has a better chance than ever to seize this opportunity. From this moment the decline of America has ended… The recent election is a mandate to give back to the people their trust, their property, their democracy and indeed their freedom with answers to all betrayals…”
He further said, those who want to stop our work have tried to snatch my freedom and have tried to take my life. A few months ago, in a beautiful field in Pennsylvania, an assassin’s bullet passed through my ear. But I felt then that my life had been saved for some reason. “I was saved by God to make America great again.”
US President Trump said, “My proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker and unifier. I want to be a peacemaker and unifier. I am pleased to say that as of yesterday, the day before I take office, hostages in the Middle East are being returned to their families. “America will regain its rightful place as the greatest, most powerful, most respected nation on earth.”
Actually, Donald Trump has become the 47th President of America. He has occupied the top post of the country with the world’s largest economy for the second time after 2017. Heads of state and senior leaders of many countries were present at Trump’s swearing-in ceremony. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar represented India.
