In this sequence, a separate meeting of the Pakistani Foreign Minister has also been held with the American diplomat.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has arrived in the US to attend the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Mahmood held a meeting with America’s top diplomat Antony Blinken on Thursday on the sidelines of this session. According to media reports, this meeting took place at the Palace Hotel in New York City at 1 pm New York time. This was the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to an inclusive political solution in Afghanistan. Qureshi stressed the importance of the international community to its commitments to the Taliban and recognized its moral obligation to help the people of Afghanistan with the growing humanitarian crisis in the war-torn country.

Qureshi said that the world should not repeat the mistake of separating from Afghanistan.
