Mukesh Ambani invites Sonia Gandhi for Anant Ambani’s Wedding: Industrialist Mukesh Ambani has visited the home of former Congress President Sonia Gandhi to meet her. According to reports from sources on the agency, Mukesh Ambani reached Sonia Gandhi’s home at 10 Janpath in Delhi on Thursday. News agency ANI has also released a video, in which some cars are seen leaving Sonia Gandhi’s home. According to the agency, this convoy of cars belongs to Mukesh Ambani, one of the richest industrialists of the country. ANI has also claimed, citing sources, that Mukesh Ambani visited Sonia Gandhi’s home to meet her so that he could present her with the invitation card for his son Anant Ambani’s wedding.

Mukesh Ambani met Sonia Gandhi at her residence

Sharing this video on social media, the news agency wrote, “Delhi: Industrialist Mukesh Ambani leaving from 10 Janpath, the residence of Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi. According to sources, he handed over the invitation card of his son Anant Ambani’s wedding to Sonia Gandhi.” Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding is going to take place on July 12 at Jio World Convention Center in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai.

‘Mosalu’ ceremony took place before Anant Ambani’s wedding

Earlier, the spectacular inside pictures of the grand ‘Mosalu’ ceremony of Anant Ambani and his would-be wife Radhika Merchant also surfaced on Thursday. The Ambani family organized this grand event at their residence Antilia in Mumbai. In the pictures of the event, all the members of the Ambani family can be seen celebrating amidst the magnificent decorations done there. Antilia was decorated with colorful lights and flowers for the event.

What is ‘Mosalu’ ceremony

Mosalu is a special ceremony in Gujarati culture that takes place a few days before the wedding. Members of the groom’s maternal side play a special role in it. Mukesh Ambani’s wife Nita Ambani, her mother Purnima Dalal and her sister Mamta Dalal also attended the event. Also, Anant’s maternal uncles and their families gave him and Radhika ‘Mameru’, which consists of traditional gifts such as clothes, jewellery and sweets. Radhika’s maternal uncle also gave her sweets and gifts.

Banaras chaat will be served in the wedding

Apart from Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, all the family members including Akash, Shloka, Isha and Anand Piramal were present during the event. Radhika Merchant looked very beautiful in an embroidered lehenga. A major highlight of Anant Ambani’s wedding plan includes the chaat stall of Varanasi’s famous Kashi Chaat Bhandar. As part of the wedding celebrations, Reliance Foundation founder and chairman Nita Ambani came to Varanasi last month to visit Kashi Vishwanath temple, where she personally invited the shop owner to her son’s wedding after tasting the chaat of Kashi Chaat Bhandar. The main ceremony of Anant Ambani’s wedding will be held on Friday, July 12. While the final event of the wedding, Mangal Utsav or reception is to be held on Sunday, July 14.
