In Mongolia, over the past 24 hours, 1,991 cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been detected, CentralAsia reports, citing the country’s Ministry of Health.
Of these, 1,043 people are persons who had close contacts with previously infected with coronavirus in Ulaanbaatar, the remaining 945 cases were detected in the regions of the country, the official statement said.
Mongolia’s National Research Center for Infectious Diseases today reported that the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection nationwide has increased to 296,766.
