Stating that all obstacles have been overcome regarding the headscarf issue, Kurtulmuş said:

From this point of view, we believe that all our citizens who adopt this lifestyle will embrace the Turkey of the future as equal and free citizens, and that they will walk on this path with heart, start and effort.”
Noting Adnan Menderes’s struggle to pave the way for imam-hatip schools, Kurtulmuş said, “May God have mercy on him, if Tevfik Ileri had not been with him, if he had not been in the Council of Ministers, the way for imam hatip high schools would not have been opened. Stating that justice and mercy, which is also the subject of the congress, are the most fundamental issues of the world, Kurtulmuş said that despite the huge developments in different areas in the world, the world and all humanity are thirsty for justice today.
Stressing that injustice is a common issue for all countries globally, Kurtulmuş said:
“We have to strive for the establishment of a new world system based on justice and compassion, and for this we have to continue our self-sacrificing efforts in every field. Justice, etymologically, means equivalence and equality. Justice means keeping the measure. Justice, humanity, maybe humanity. It is one of the most important human qualities sought throughout its history.Justice is not only a matter of courtrooms, it is not only a matter of law, it is a common matter of the economy, social life, political life and the global system.Justice is not just a word, justice is not just a demand, it is a matter of life, people and people. Stating that compassion is one of the basic steps of justice, Kurtulmuş continued:

Unfortunately, one of the biggest global injustice issues in the world is the injustice experienced in income distribution. He has 70 percent of the world’s total wealth. 70 percent of the world’s population has only 3 percent of the world’s income. There is such a world.”
