Airtel Tariff Hike: Like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel has also increased the tariffs of both its prepaid and postpaid plans from today i.e. July 3. This increase in prices has been from 10 to 21 percent in different plans. The company has made this all-round increase in its plans with the aim of increasing the average revenue per user (ARPU). Airtel believes that its ARPU should be at least Rs 300, only then an average profit can be earned after deducting the expenses of expanding the mobile network, new technology and spectrum.
You will have to take expensive plans for free-unlimited 5G
To get the facility of free-unlimited 5G, you will now have to take more expensive plans than before. Earlier this benefit was available on Airtel’s cheap plans as well, but now this facility will be available only on those plans which include 2GB data per day or more. To get the facility of free-unlimited 5G in the new plan, customers will have to spend at least Rs 649. Despite the price hike in Reliance Jio, this facility is starting from the plan of Rs 349.
