Airtel Finance FD Scheme :Bharti Airtel, one of India’s leading telecom service providers, has announced the launch of a fixed deposit (FD) marketplace under its digital arm, Airtel Finance. This fixed deposit scheme will be available at an attractive interest rate of up to 9.1 percent per annum. The company has joined hands with big NBFCs and small finance banks for this.

Airtel users will get the facility of FD on Airtel Thanks App itself. Through Airtel Finance, users will be able to easily do FD and withdraw money on maturity. Different FD options will be available to users on Airtel Thanks App, through which users can ensure their returns and fixed income by choosing the option of fixed income. This scheme further strengthens the offering of personal loan, Airtel Axis Bank cobrand credit card, Airtel Bajaj Finserv Insta EMI card, credit card marketplace and gold loan included in its portfolio.

Bharti Airtel said that the company has launched a fixed deposit ‘marketplace’ under its digital unit Airtel Finance, which will offer interest up to 9.1 percent per annum. Airtel Finance has offered fixed deposits in partnership with several small finance banks and NBFCs including Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, Shivalik Bank, Suryoday Small Finance Bank and Shriram Finance. So that customers can get higher returns on FD.

The process of doing FD is easy
On the Airtel Thanks app platform, customers can directly manage their funds by joining a Fixed Deposit scheme with a minimum investment of Rs 1000 without opening a new bank account.
It is a completely digital process with three easy steps:
1. Select FD by comparing all the options.
2. Enter the relevant details and complete the KYC process.
3. Make payment through existing bank account.

This service is currently available only on Android devices. It will soon be made available on iOS devices as well.
