Agreement between Sony and Italo for the customization of high-speed trains

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Italo – Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori have announced a partnership that will see the high-speed trains on the Turin-Salerno route transformed into a PlayStation-themed experience. From 3 December 2024 to 3 March 2025, the first and last carriages of these trains will be customized with graphics dedicated to Astro Bot, protagonist of the PS5 video game of the same name developed by Team Asobi. The initiative involves the external decoration of the carriages with images of the character, while inside the tables and windows will be enriched with graphic elements that recall the universe of Astro Bot and PS5. Travelers will then be able to immerse themselves in this virtual world during their journey. The collaboration between the two companies will affect the main stations of the route, including Milan, Bologna, Florence, Rome and Naples. Astro Bot was awarded Game of the Year at the recent Game Awards 2024, winning Game of the Year and triumphing in three other categories. A result that highlights the high level of quality and innovation achieved by the title.
