Prayagraj: On the day of Mauni Amavasya, a stampede took place in the Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj, killed many innocent people. So far, 30 people died in the accident have disturbed everyone. Not only CM Yogi but all the leaders including PM Modi have expressed grief about this incident. The Yogi government has announced to provide financial assistance of 25-25 lakh to the families of the deceased in the stampede. At the same time, Yogi has also ordered a judicial inquiry into this incident.

- No vehicle zone was created: Entry of all types of vehicles has been banned after the incident.
- The entry of any VVIP vehicle in Makkumbh region has been banned.
- One way routes have been started today to control the crowd. Through this, the smooth movement of devotees will be ensured. The entry of vehicles has been completely banned. Vehicles coming from the districts adjacent to Prayagraj are being stopped at the boundaries of the district.
- Strict sanctions have been imposed till 4 February. Till this time, a complete ban has been applied to the entry of four -wheelers in the check.

The fair administration has released the data of dead and injured by holding a press conference on Wednesday regarding the stampede in Mahakumbh. The Mahakumbh Mela administration said that 30 people have lost their lives in the stampede. A total of 90 people were injured. 60 injured have been admitted to the hospital. 25 people have been identified in the dead.
