The announcement said: “Pursuant to Decision No. 65/QD-SVHTTDL dated January 29, 2024 of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc on assigning quotas for coaches and athletes of sports teams under the Sports Training and Competition Center Vinh Phuc province’s sports team in 2024; Based on the requests of sports teams and the actual situation, regular training nutrition has not been provided to coaches, athletes, and Training Centers. Vinh Phuc province’s sports competition announced: Temporarily suspending regular training of sports teams from December 24, 2024 until regular funding is granted in 2024.
Before announcing the suspension of operations, Vinh Phuc Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center regularly trained and coached 11 high-performance sports teams (11 coaches, 117 team athletes; 30 coaches, 92 youth team athletes ).

Among the sports teams that were suspended, there was the sailing team and this team had a total of 17 athletes. Among them, there are 6 athletes playing for the Vietnamese youth sailing team, including Duong Thi Oanh (born in 2007), Khuong Vi Ha Chang (born in 2008), Cao Thi Hong (born in 2009), Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh (born in 2009). born in 2011), Vi Thi Kim Chi (born in 2009), Mac Thi My San (born in 2009).
Up to this point, only athlete Nguyen Thi Huong (also from Vinh Phuc unit), a national team player, has applied for leave from training at the Vinh Phuc Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center. But the 6 young players mentioned above will also make an official application to quit training. The Vietnam Sailing Federation will make arrangements so that these players’ careers will not be affected. The federation will let athletes practice in Hai Phong.
Vinh Phuc Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests a special policy
