Dubai: Film star Siddique has received a UAE Golden Visa. Jamad Usman, CEO of Emirates First, a business setup center in Dubai, completed the visa process. A picture of Siddique receiving a visa has been shared on the Emirates First Instagram page.

Many actors from the Malayalam film industry had earlier received Golden Visas. Mammootty, Mohanlal were followed by Dulquer Salman, Prithviraj, Tovino Thomas, Asha Sarath, Nyla Usha, Asif Ali, Mithun Ramesh, Lal Jose and Meera Jasmine.

The UAE government issues ten-year Golden Visas to students who have excelled in various fields of work, as well as those in other fields.

Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliar, Grand Mufti of India and Chancellor of Jamia Marcus, was also granted a Golden Visa by the UAE yesterday. He received the Golden Visa at a ceremony at the Dubai Residence and Immigration Department headquarters.

Aboobacker Musliar was honored by the UAE for his outstanding international ties, educational exchanges and charitable activities between the UAE and Jamia Markaz. Kanthapuram is the first person to receive a Golden Visa from India for educational and charitable activities.
