Acer presented an update to its Predator gaming laptop line at CES in Las Vegas, introducing the flagship models Predator Helios 16 AI and Predator Helios 18 AI, equipped with Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs. The company also announced the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, a mid-range notebook with a slim design, and the Predator gaming monitor XB323QX. The new devices leverage NVIDIA Blackwell architecture to deliver superior gaming performance and AI. The GPUs integrate features such as NVIDIA DLSS 4, NVIDIA Studio, and NVIDIA NIM microservices. Helios laptops also feature sixth-generation 3D AeroBlade fans and MagKey 4.0 mechanical keys.
Predator Helios 16 AI (available from June starting from €2,799) and Helios 18 AI (available from April starting from €3,699) are aimed at gamers and technology enthusiasts. They offer Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors with NPU, GPU up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, RAM up to 192 GB and storage up to 6 TB PCIe Gen 5. The cooling system includes 6th generation 3D AeroBlade fans, liquid metal thermal paste and vector heat pipes. The Helios 16 AI features a 240Hz WQXGA OLED display, while the Helios 18 AI features a 120Hz 4K Mini LED WQXGA display with dual-mode switching to FHD at 240Hz.
Predator Helios Neo 16S AI (available in May starting from €2,399) offers a slim design (less than 19.9 mm thick) and integrates an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32 GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. The screen is a 240Hz WQXGA OLED with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The Predator Pulsar. It offers 10-bit color depth and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. With this new line, Acer aims to offer gamers a high-level gaming experience, combining high performance, refined design and cutting-edge technologies.
