Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a big setback before the Delhi Assembly elections on Sunday. Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot resigned from Aam Aadmi Party. He has informed about this by writing a letter to Delhi CM Atishi and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.

Delhi Minister and AAP leader Kailash Gehlot has resigned from the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party. He has written a letter to the party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. The letter reads, “There are many shameful and strange controversies like Sheesh Mahal, which are now making everyone doubt whether we still believe in being a common man…It is now clear that if the Delhi government spends most of its time with the Centre, There can be no real progress for Delhi if it spends time fighting. I have no option left but to separate from you and hence I am resigning from the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party.
Kailash Gehlot was born on 11 March 1974. Kailash Gehlot was born in a Jat family of Gehlot gotra in New Delhi. He holds Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law, Master of Law degrees from Delhi University.
Kailash Gehlot, who held the charge of Transport and Environment Department in the previous government of Delhi, had taken oath as minister this time too. This time Kailash had won from Najafgarh assembly seat by defeating Ajit Singh Kharkhari of Bharatiya Janata Party.
