Aadhaar details can be updated online for free. Here we are giving you step by step information about what you need to do for this:
Visit the official website of UIDAI myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
Enter Aadhaar number and captcha
Click on ‘send OTP’ and enter the OTP received on your linked number.
After this select Update Demographics Data.
On the next page, select the correct options and click on ‘Proceed’.
You can make necessary changes on the next page.
Upload the required documents.
Check the details entered.
Submit the change request.
If you have requested for change of address, you can check the status of the request through Update Request Number (URN).

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended the deadline for updating Aadhaar for free several times. The authority that generates the unique photo ID last extended the facility of updating all Aadhaar-related details for free from June 14 to September 14, 2024. Earlier, UIDAI extended the deadline for updating demographic details for free from December 15, 2023 to March 14, 2024, then to June 14, 2024 and again to September 14, 2024.
