In this episode, an IPS officer Suvashish Chaudhary posted on X and wrote, A special memory of Dr. Manmohan Singh from the police officer’s box. He described the personality of Dr. Manmohan Singh on X.
He wrote, when he (Dr. Manmohan Singh) was the Finance Minister of India, one of his personal relatives met with a small accident in Delhi. Out of fear, that relative went to the residence of the Finance Minister along with the car. When Dr Singh came to know, he called the SHO and said that both the criminal and the vehicle were at his residence. You arrest them from there. The SHO found out that the accident was very minor and no one was injured. But Dr. Singh refused to listen to this.
Now listen to what happened in the words of the SHO, “Dr. Manmohan Singh was repeatedly saying that an accident had happened and I was repeatedly saying that sir, no accident had happened. He was talking like a police officer and I was like an accused.”
