The victim was a child who lived on the upper floor of the accused’s house. At around 8:30 on Monday night, the daughter was reaching downstairs to pick up a toy that had fallen on the ground floor. After a long time, the boy did not return. The mother said that while the investigation was going on, the child came home crying. The details of the abuse became clear when he talked to the child.
The child’s lips were bruised and swollen. The mother added that her daughter was in a safe condition. On hearing the information, the boy’s father reached the house of the accused and raised a ruckus, but the son threatened him and threatened to beat him up with goons. He is also a police officer. The son threatened the boy’s father that he was working in the police and knew many goons and would use them to beat him up.
The police officer, who is the son of the accused, informed the family that the information about the child being molested should not be disclosed and that the money would be paid. The boy’s father alleged that he wanted to take money and leave the house. The child’s father ignored the threat and lodged a complaint with the police. The police registered the case and arrested the accused under sections including POCSO.
The girl and the accused were subjected to medical examination. A case has also been registered against the accused’s son who threatened the girl’s father and offered him money to hide the molestation. The police said that a detailed investigation into the incident is going on. Eight days ago, the girl and her family came to live on the upper floor of the house where the accused lives.
