As soon as we order, we get these things easily without any hassle. However, sometimes it happens that we do not get what we order. Recently, a person ordered a mobile phone online, but when he opened it, he found a bar of soap in it. According to the information, this matter is from Thane district of Maharashtra. A man ordered a smartphone worth Rs 46,000 from an online shopping platform, but reportedly found three bars of soap in the parcel given to him. Police gave this information on Monday.
An officer of Bhayandar police station said that it appears that the victim’s parcel has been tampered with during delivery. He said that the victim had ordered an iPhone worth Rs 46,000 from an online shopping platform.
Police quoted the complaint filed by the victim and said that when he opened the package, he found three bars of dishwashing soap in the mobile phone packet. The officer said that the police on Saturday registered a case against an unknown culprit under section 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). He said that the matter is being investigated.
