The Palma Court of Instruction number 3 has imposed a sentence of one year in prison and a three-year ban from accessing stadiums on the perpetrator of the racist episodes in Son Moix against Vinicius Junior and Samu Chukwueze. The events occurred on February 5, 2023 in a LaLiga EA Sports match between RCD Mallorca and Real Madrid and on February 18 of the same year, in another match played at the Mallorca Son Moix Stadium between the vermilion team and Villarreal.
Both complaints, initiated and promoted by LALIGA, have been resolved with convictions for Crimes of Moral Integrity with the aggravating circumstance of discrimination for racist reasons and also applying the mitigating circumstance of repentance. Each of the incidents that occurred has resulted in a sentence of six months in prison and 18 months of prohibition from entering football stadiums where LaLiga and/or Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) matches are held, and both convictions are added together.

The minor has agreed to apologize to the player, Real Madrid and LaLiga and to carry out specific socio-educational activities proposed by the Minors Section of the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Palma de Mallorca. He must also pay 4,000 euros for racist insults, 3,001 euros for throwing objects onto the pitch and will not be allowed to enter LaLiga and RFEF stadiums for one calendar year.
