At least five security personnel were killed and more injured in a terrorist attack on Sunday in Pakistan’s turbulent Balochistan province. Four terrorists, including a suicide bomber, have been killed in a confrontation in the Noshi district of the province, local media said. Local police station chief Zafarullah Sumalalani said that a paramilitary frantier core (FC) on Nushki Dalbandin National Highway with a suicide bomber explosive was hit.
Sumalai said that the suicide bomber had jumped into the FC convoy with a vehicle filled with explosives, depending on the evidence collected at the attack. The ‘Express Tribune’ newspaper reported that the security forces had gone to the confrontation and killed four terrorists, including the suicide bomber. The magazine also quoted the security forces that the forbidden Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) militants were involved in the attack. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, National Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attack. They regretted the loss of life in the incident.
