The Russian Ministry of Defense said that Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 121 Ukrainian UAVs late at night and early in the morning of January 24. Of these, 6 UAVs were destroyed over the Moscow region and 1 UAV was shot down over the capital city.
Other regions of Russia have also become targets of attacks, including the area bordering Ukraine and Kursk, where the Ukrainian army has been organizing a military campaign since August last year.
TASS reported that the Ukrainian army also launched 21 other UAVs into the Ryazan region, southeast of Moscow, and channels on the Telegram application posted video clips recording scenes of large fires occurring within the city.

Eyewitnesses said an oil depot and power station in Ryazan were hit by the attack.
Governor Pavel Malkov of the Ryazan region announced on Telegram that the emergency affairs agency was responding to the consequences of an air strike. A team of firefighters extinguished the fire after UAV debris fell on a residential house.
And Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said early on the morning of January 24 that the capital’s air defense force had intercepted attacks by Ukrainian UAVs in 4 locations around the city. Mr. Sobyanin said there were no casualties in the capital.
Also according to the mayor, two Ukrainian UAVs on their way to Moscow were shot down by air defense forces in Podolsk, south of the capital. Another UAV was also handled in Troitsky, southwest of the capital, and in Shchyolkovo, northeast of Moscow.
Russian media quoted an announcement from the Russian Federal Aviation Administration Rosaviatsiya saying that two airports in Moscow, Vnukovo and Domodedovo, continued to operate normally after a period of stagnation at the time the Ukrainian UAV approached. Six flights were diverted to other airports.
The Russian Ministry of Defense recorded Ukrainian UAV attacks in the border areas of Bryansk and Belgorod, the Crimean peninsula, as well as Saratov, Rostov, Voronezh, Tula, Oryol and Lipetsk.
While Ukraine launched a UAV attack against many regions of Russia, the Moscow government military also attacked the capital Kyiv with UAVs.
Reuters cited information from Ukrainian officials saying the attack was carried out on January 24, killing three civilians and damaging residential and commercial buildings.
Russia has not commented on the above information.
