Maruti Suzuki Set to Increase Prices : Leading automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) will increase the prices of its various models by Rs 32,500 from February 1. The company said on Thursday i.e. 23 January 2025 that this will help in reducing the impact of increase in the cost of raw materials to some extent. Maruti Suzuki India said in a statement to the stock market that due to rising raw material costs and operating expenses, the company is planning to increase car prices from February 1, 2025.
Why will Maruti cars be expensive?
Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said that, however, the company is committed to optimizing costs and minimizing the impact on customers. Still, we are forced to pass on some part of the increased expenses to the market. The company currently sells a variety of vehicles ranging from the entry-level Alto K10 (starting at Rs 3.99 lakh) to the Invicto priced at Rs 28.92 lakh.
How much will the price of which model increase?
Celerio: Under the revised prices, from February 1, 2025, the showroom price of the company’s compact car Celerio will increase by Rs 32,500.
Invicto: Whereas the price of premium model Invicto will increase by Rs 30,000 from February 1, 2025.
Wagon-R: The price of the company’s popular model Wagon-R will increase by Rs 15,000 from February 1, 2025.
Swift: Whereas the price of Swift will increase by Rs 5,000 from February 1, 2025.
SUV Brezza and Grand Vitara: Prices of SUV Brezza and Grand Vitara will increase by Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 from February 1, 2025.
Alto K10: The company said that the price of entry-level small car Alto K10 will increase by Rs 19,500 from February 1, 2025.
S-Presso: Whereas the price of S-Presso will increase by Rs 5,000 from February 1, 2025.
Baleno: The price of premium compact model Baleno will increase by Rs 9,000 from February 1, 2025.
Frocks: The price of the compact SUV will increase by Rs 5,500 from February 1, 2025.
Desire : The price of compact sedan Dezire will increase by Rs 10,000 from February 1, 2025.
