TRAI Latest Report : Reliance Jio added 12.1 lakh wireless customers in November. With this, the number of its mobile customers has increased to 46.12 crore. With this, Reliance Jio has stopped the decline in the number of customers that has been going on for 4 consecutive months. Telecom Subscribers Report has been released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. TRAI’s report contains information about the number of customers joining Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL in the month of November.
According to the report, Jio was the only company whose user base increased in the month of November. The month of November was a shock for Airtel, Vi and BSNL. The number of customers of Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and public sector Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decreased.

According to the latest data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Jio increased its number of mobile users to 46.12 crore in November, halting the decline of the last four months. Bharti Airtel lost 11.4 lakh wireless customers in November, while its mobile user base dropped to 38.4 crore. While Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) also suffered loss of customers. The number of its mobile users decreased by 15 lakh to 20.8 crore in November.
BSNL lost 3.4 lakh users
The number of BSNL customers, which has been benefiting from increase in subscriber base due to increase in tariff rates and SIM integration by private telecom companies in the last few months, declined in November. According to the data, the number of BSNL wireless subscribers decreased by 3.4 lakh to 9.20 crore during November. After July 2025, November was the first month in which BSNL suffered a loss of customers. BSNL lost about 340,000 customers in the month of November. According to the latest report, at present about 92 million people across the country are taking advantage of the services of government companies.
Let us tell you that except BSNL, in the month of July last year, all the telecom companies had drastically increased the prices of their recharge plans. Angered by this decision of private companies, lakhs of users shifted towards BSNL. Jio suffered huge loss of customers from July to October. But now this story has completely changed once again. Jio has once again been completely successful in bringing its customers.
What was the condition of the month of October?
According to the previous report of TRAI, Airtel had added about 192,000 new customers in the month of October. In October, more than 5 lakh new users were connected with BSNL. Whereas Jio had lost about 3.76 million customers this month. In the month of October, Vodafone Idea suffered a huge loss of customers and the company lost about 19.7 million users.
