Worship at Triveni, service of Mahaprasad, and an example for millions of devotees – Gautam Adani’s contribution in Mahakumbh
This time a different spiritual dedication is being seen in the historical Mahakumbh 2025 going on in Prayagraj. The country’s leading industrialist and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has joined hands with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) to serve food to devotees at the Maha Kumbh Mela. This initiative has not only become a symbol of religious devotion but is also presenting a unique example of service to humanity for millions of people.
Gautam Adani reached the ISKCON pandal in Prayagraj on Tuesday, where he and his wife were given a grand welcome at the ISKCON camp. During this time, he prepared Mahaprasad and also did the service of distributing food among the devotees. Under this initiative, Adani Group and ISKCON are providing free food to lakhs of devotees every day.
‘Mahaprasad Seva’ for 50 lakh devotees
In the Maha Kumbh Mela, Adani Group and ISKCON have jointly started an initiative called Mahaprasad Seva, under which food is being prepared in two huge kitchens located inside and outside the Mela area. This food is being distributed at 40 different places in the fair complex. Overall, the initiative aims to provide food to more than 50 lakh devotees by February 26.
Gautam Adani said, “This experience of service with ISKCON during Mahakumbh is unforgettable. Service, in the truest sense, is the highest form of patriotism. It is prayer, it is meditation, and it is like worshiping God.”
Unique combination of devotion and service
Gautam Adani offered prayers at Triveni Sangam and also visited the famous Bade Hanuman Temple of Prayagraj. He expressed his devotion by performing aarti in ISKCON temple. After this he reached the kitchen with the family, where he participated in the process of preparing Mahaprasad.
During this, he said that it is a privilege for him to participate in a holy event like Mahakumbh and to cooperate with a dedicated organization like ISKCON.
Special arrangements for devotees
Apart from Mahaprasad Seva, special arrangements like golf carts have been made to assist the elderly, disabled and mothers with children. Also, under this initiative, 5 lakh copies of Geeta Saar are also being distributed among the devotees, so that their spiritual experience can be further deepened.

The devotees who came to Mahakumbh praised the arrangements being made by Adani Group and ISKCON. Ankit Modanwal, who came from Jaunpur, UP, said, “This arrangement of Mahaprasad is very wonderful. “There are no charges being taken here, and the quality of the food is very good.”
Another devotee from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand said, “The Bhandara service organized by ISKCON and Adani Group for the devotees is unique. This is helping people and increasing awareness of Sanatan Dharma.”
