Sigep World, the world’s leading event for the Foodservice sector, consolidates its role as a market incubator by reconfirming the Start-Up and Innovation area, with the aim of create new business opportunities and encourage dialogue between the business world and young entrepreneurial entities that offer technologies and new solutions, raw materials, ingredients, machinery and packaging in the ice cream, pastry, coffee, chocolate, bread making and pizza sectors. The initiative is organized by the Italian Exhibition Group, in collaboration with ICE-Agenzia and has ANGI, the National Association of Young Innovators, as its Main Partner.
An occasion of extraordinary importance was during the the opening day of Saturday 18 January was the second edition of the Lorenzo Cagnoni Awardthe prestigious award that rewards the most innovative start-ups and products that will shape new scenarios in the international foodservice panorama. An initiative in partnership with ANGI – National Association of Young Innovators and ICE-Agency, which once again underlines the central role of SIGEP WORLD as the main stage for the launch of new products and cutting-edge solutions in the sector.
Among the awarded startups, of the over 20 present in the innovation district area, the recognition went to: Simply SFA (withdrawn by Romualdo Lodovici, director of the company, Koove (retired by Tiphaine Guerout co-founder and CEO of KOOVEE) e Veganok Global Srl (withdrawn by Irene Ramos Garcia – co-founder of the TERRE DI HOROS project).
